Though really early, Props 1 A-E look to be winning easily. The draconian sex offender prop is way ahead (73%), the smoking tax is being defeated, but only marginally, as is the alternative energy prop. The awful education tax that made no sense (Prop. 88) is going down in flames- as is Prop 89, a terrible campaign financing measure sponsored mainly by special interests.
